Holland Shipyards Group was contracted by Hafvorskningsinstituttet for the delivery of a new coastal research vessel, named “Prinsesse Ingrid Alexandra”. The vessel, designed by LMG Marin AS, is used for data collection, fish stock sampling and monitoring the sea areas in the Norway's coastal zones. To fulfill its research duties at sea, the vessel is designed and equipped with 2 labaratories and a fishery acoustics center, allowing modern and efficient execution of its various research tasks simultaneously.
